She Crawled!!
Lelia took her first "steps" of mobility independence today...she crawled over at a friends house this afternoon...I only caught the very end of it but she did make some good forward progress (maybe a foot or two but in our books that 's progress!). This was a very exciting day!!

Bike Outreach
Last Saturday Tom helped out with a bike outreach where members from our church donated bicycles for children whose families can not buy them bikes. Tom really enjoyed spending time with the kids and being able to give them something that brought them lots of joy and would continue to over the summer.

Meet Sedona Hope Clarke
Here is the second addition to our family, Sedona Hope Clarke. She is perfectly healthy so far and is weighing in right now at just 7 oz. We are so happy to be welcoming another little girl into the family! One of our favorite parts about having another girl is thinking of the possibility that she and Lelia will grow up to be great friends. We ask for your continued prayers for Sedona as she continues to grow into a more mature young lady :) Enjoy the picture. Love, The Clarkes
Our New Ride
Well we have finally moved to official minivan family status. It was a tough adjustment but we knew it was the best thing to do. The color wasn't exactly what we wanted but the price was unbeatable, so here it is. We are looking forward to having more space and convenience in driving with little ones. Our favorite features are the power sliding doors and DVD player for the kids when they get older.

It's A ...
Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to get on the blog because there were many of you waiting word about how our sonogram went today. I will update with pictures tomorrow but it's getting late. We are having a very healthy little girl! We are very excited that Lelia will be able to share her room with a little sister so close to her age. We are so grateful to everyone for their prayers for this little blessing! We appreciate you all very much!

Lelia's Friends
Ummm Meatballs!
Well, our feminine little girl has found her favorite foods thus far. I asked her pediatrician if I could start her on proteins because I felt she was ready and the pediatrician gave me the go ahead with the caveat that she definitely wouldn't like it for quite a while. Well, her first time eating meatballs I put a few chunks on her tray and walked away. When I came back they were GONE and her mouth was stuffed full of them! I realized then that it was going to take her NO time to "adjust" to eating meats and that I needed to watch her closely with them because she is going to choke herself on them! They also said to offer her veggies before fruits because she would fill up on the sweet fruits and not eat any veggies...not our little bruiser! She doesn't care for fruit but LOVES peas! I have to watch her with those too because they go down the hatch handfuls at a time.

Lelia Is Doing Some New Things
Hi everyone! Just wanted to write a quick blog update on Lelia's new favorite things to do. About 2 weeks ago Lelia began lifting up her arm, staring at her hand and moving it around...sounds silly but I couldn't figure out what she was doing until a mother of 3 said, "she's waiving!" I was shocked! But sure enough, she is waiving...sometimes appropriately and then sometimes just for herself to remind herself what a big girl she is :) She has officially really found her voice...but not just any voice...her "outside" voice. I feel terrible for the family that lives below us with a 2 week old son...Lelia LOVES to squeal...all the time! Yesterday she tried to put a shape into an opening of the toy it goes into...so she is putting together that things can go inside of things...that was pretty neat! Other than that, she is now more picky with baby food because she wants adult food. She won't eat mashed peas, but whole peas are just fine. So, her taste buds are maturing :) She loves corn bread, cheerios, canned fruit, noodle casserole and more to be revealed I'm sure. That's about it for now. We hope you all are doing well. Love, The Clarkes
Lelia and Georgia
We went over to the Holden's house yesterday for lunch and a play date with Georgia (11 months) and Faith (3 years). Faith didn't want to have her picture taken. We had a chicken and noodle casserole for lunch and Lelia loved it! It was her first time eating noodles. We had a great time with the Holden girls...mommy and April enjoyed catching up too :)
Ethan is 3 Weeks Old!
